Welcome to All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Thomasville, Ga. My wife, Cynthia, and I feel truly blessed to be a part of this church; my sense is that is true of all our members, whether they have been here for thirty years or thirty days.
All Saints’ is an active, thriving community of Christians that wholeheartedly embraces our rich Anglican heritage. Our liturgy is reverent and traditional and is supported by an outstanding choir. Our preaching is grounded in Scripture but is relevant to lives that are being lived in the twenty-first century.
The congregation is a balanced blend of all ages. Members are closely supportive of one another but warmly welcome newcomers, who soon feel at home. As a Christian community, we understand that we cannot claim to love God without loving our neighbor; this is a church that reaches out in service.
This website is designed to serve two purposes. There is information here for current members who are keeping abreast of all the activities of the church. But there is also information here for newcomers wanting to know about what we believe, what we do, and how to become a part of this family of believers. We hope you will find it helpful.
If you are thinking about visiting All Saints’, I have two suggestions. First, please feel welcome to visit us on a Sunday morning for our 10:30 service. An usher will give you a bulletin that will guide you through the service. My other suggestion is that you come to one of our Wednesday evening “Body and Soul” events, where you will find classes for all ages, not to mention a delicious supper! All agree Wednesday nights are a lot of fun.
And when you do come for a visit, please introduce yourself to me. I would love to meet you and introduce you to others.
The Rev. Paul B. Hancock, Rector
