This year, we are stepping up the game! More candy, more cars, more activities for both children and parents! It is going to be an All Hallows’ Fair!
Why ” All Hallows’ Fair”?
Halloween, short for All Hallows’ Eve, refers to the evening before All Saints’ Day, observed on November 1st. The word “hallow” comes from Old English halga, meaning holy or sanctified, so All Hallows refers to all saints. The term Halloween (or Hallowe’en) literally means “Saints’ evening” and is of Christian origin, marking the vigil before the day dedicated to honoring saints who have reached heaven.
Registrants sign up to park their decorated vehicle in the All Saints’ parking lot. Where hundreds of community children come dressed and eager to fill their bag full of candy! This is safe event supported by our local Sheriff and emergency departments. Follow our social media for more event details!
