Opportunities to Serve

At All Saints’ Episcopal Church, opportunities to serve create space for community and spiritual growth, fostering meaningful connections through acts of compassion and support.

Group Descriptions

Adult Choir

The Adult Choir at All Saints Episcopal Church is a dedicated group of vocalists who enhance our worship through beautiful and uplifting music. Open to all who love to sing, the choir leads the congregation in hymns, anthems, and special musical offerings that enrich our services. Whether you are an experienced singer or simply have a passion for music, we welcome you to join us in sharing the gift of song.

Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir provides a joyful and engaging way for young voices to participate in worship. Through age-appropriate songs and musical instruction, children learn the importance of music in faith while developing confidence and teamwork. Open to children of all skill levels, the choir sings periodically in services and special events throughout the year.

Ushers

Ushers are the first to extend Christ’s welcome to all who enter our church. They greet parishioners and visitors with warmth, hand out service bulletins, assist with seating, and provide guidance during communion and other parts of the service. Ushers also help ensure the flow of the service runs smoothly, collecting offerings and addressing any needs that arise. By serving as an usher, you help cultivate an atmosphere of hospitality, making everyone feel at home in God’s house.

Acolytes

Acolytes play a vital role in leading our worship services, assisting the clergy in carrying out the liturgy with reverence and grace. They carry processional crosses, torches, and banners, light candles, and help prepare the altar for Holy Communion. Serving as an acolyte is a meaningful way to deepen one’s faith, learn more about Episcopal traditions, and actively contribute to the rhythm and beauty of our worship. This opportunity is open to youth and adults who feel called to serve in this capacity.

Lay Readers

Lay readers serve the congregation by proclaiming the Word of God during worship services. They read passages of scripture, lead the Prayers of the People, and occasionally assist with other elements of the liturgy. This ministry is an opportunity to bring the sacred texts to life through clear and thoughtful reading, helping the congregation connect more deeply with God’s message. Lay readers receive training and support to grow in confidence and understanding of their role in worship.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild plays a crucial role in ensuring the reverence and beauty of each worship service. Members of this ministry are entrusted with the care and preparation of all items used in the liturgy, including altar linens, chalices, candles, and vestments. They work behind the scenes, ensuring that every detail is attended to, creating a sacred space for worship. The Altar Guild serves with dedication and humility, ensuring that the worship experience at All Saints’ is both spiritually enriching and aesthetically beautiful.

Children & Youth Ministries

Our Children and Youth Ministries nurture young hearts and minds through faith-based learning, fellowship, and service. From Sunday school and Bible studies to fun activities and outreach projects, we create opportunities for children and teens to grow spiritually and build lasting friendships. We strive to provide a welcoming space where young people can explore their faith and discover their role in God’s love and mission.

Episcopal Church Women (ECW):

The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) is at the heart of our church community, bringing women together through service, fellowship, and faith. This dedicated group organizes a variety of pop-up events throughout the year—ranging from fundraisers to seasonal gatherings—and steps in to support the church and its members wherever there is a need. Their presence is a vital and uplifting part of our parish life.
